Summit Machine Tool Manufacturing is the exclusive machine tool equipment provider for Oklahoma City-based Darwin Motorcycles. Darwin is a federally licensed manufacturer of custom and production motorcycles — and the worldwide award-winning designer and builder of Brass Balls Bobbers & Choppers.

Darwin Motorcycles uses Summit lathes and EVS349B Mills to produce the amazing motorcycles. Darwin’s bike designs won World Championships in 2008 & 2009. In addition, Darwin’s Brass Balls design work was awarded Production Bobber of the Year and Top 10 Production Bike, both in 2009.

This year, Darwin is proudly producing the official Daytona Bike Week motorcycle, the Brass Balls 69 Chopper. This one-of-a-kind bike was featured on the cover of American Iron Magazine. Held March 4-13 in Daytona Beach, FL., the 70th annual Bike Week event is the world’s largest motorcycle event.

The head-turning Darwin Motorcycles have been featured in countless national magazines and television shows. They were featured twice in 2010 on the Discovery show, Two Wheel Thunder – An American Icon.
